Jerome Touze – WAYN.com
Jerome Touze, 33, is the Co-founder & Chief Revenue Officer of WAYN.com – Where Are You Now. With 22 million members worldwide, WAYN.com is the largest travelling social community online with members in 193 countries. The site generated over 19 million visits in the last 60 days alone and grows by 3,000 new travellers daily. The platform enables users from around the world to discover where to go next by interacting with other members who live, have been or will be at the same intended destination.
WAYN partners with over 50 global Tourism organisations such as Discover USA, Visit Britain, Germany, Ireland, Indonesia, Bangladesh and South Africa Tourism to name but a few. Focusing on intentions broadcasting, clients can use the platform to target users and influence their travels’ intentions prior to booking a trip.
Jerome has been deeply involved in the latest social media and viral marketing technologies and gained invaluable insights into the various means online businesses are emphasising on their brand awareness and developing a strong user base by using the so called Self Generated Content Strategies. Jerome was also a Enterprising Young Brits and Finalist as Business Entrepreneur of the Year; a ‘Young gun’, class of 2007 according to Growing Business Magazine and Commended for Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 at the UK Technology Innovation and Growth Awards. More recently Jerome was a finalist at the Ernst & Young London Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
In 2012, he led a new venture with India Today Group, one of India’s largest Media Group in India by launching WAYN TravelPLUS Digital. Earlier this year, WAYN relaunched its platform to be a lot more focus on Destinations discovery.
Prior to founding WAYN.com, Jerome was a Consultant in Telecommunications and High Tech at Accenture, working primarily on CRM solutions for major accounts such as British Telecommunications and Microsoft. He holds a BA Hons in European Management from the CESEM Business School in France and a BA Hons in Business & Finance from the University of Westminster, London. He loves travelling, Rugby and has a passion for Classical music.
